Protecting Your Apple Devices During Eid:
Protecting Your Apple Devices During Eid:
1. Prevent Liquid Damage:
Keep devices away from food & drinks: Be extra careful around sweets, syrups, beverages, and cooking areas.
Use caution near water: Be mindful when using devices near sinks, fountains, or during ablution (wudu).
Consider protective cases: Use cases with raised edges near ports and consider waterproof options if near water is unavoidable.
Act fast if spills happen: Immediately power off the device, unplug cables, gently wipe excess liquid, and seek professional help like Apple Lab promptly. Do not charge it or turn it on.
2. Avoid Overheating:
Don’t leave devices in direct sun: Avoid leaving your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook in hot cars or on sunny windowsills.
Close unused apps: Background apps can generate heat. Swipe them closed (iOS/iPadOS) or quit them (macOS).
Remove cases while charging: Thick cases can trap heat, especially during intensive charging.
Ensure good ventilation: Don’t cover your MacBook vents or use it on soft surfaces like beds or laps that block airflow. Use it on a hard, flat surface.
Temporarily reduce intensive tasks: If the device feels very hot, pause gaming, video editing, or heavy downloads until it cools down.
