We are seeking a passionate and skilled Digital Marketing and Sourcing Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding, acquiring, and validating data for use in an organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand business needs and determine what type of data is required.
Define the scope (internal, external, structured, unstructured, open-source, proprietary).
Identify potential sources (databases, APIs, surveys, vendors, government portals, etc.).
Evaluate data providers based on reliability, coverage, credibility, and cost.
Validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Check for duplication, bias, or errors.
Monitor freshness/timeliness of data.
Record data lineage (where it came from and how it was collected).
Maintain metadata for context and traceability.
Assess risks in sourcing (e.g., fake datasets, non-compliant vendors).
Protect sensitive and confidential data during acquisition.
Format and standardize data for compatibility with internal systems.
Provide data to analysts, engineers, and decision-makers in a usable form.
Continuously review data sources for reliability and updates.
Retire outdated or non-compliant sources.
